Home Insurance Building Home Contents/building Insurance (UK)?

Home contents/building insurance (UK)? - home insurance building

I'm moving into a rented apartment with my girlfriend and we try to get our insurance sorted, but one thing bothers me. If tenants have contents insurance and accidental cause of structural / structural damage (eg, resulting in a flood or fire) insurance covers repairs or we expect (like us).

Most contents insurance we have seen that only between 2k and 12k of damage to equipment and facility owners meet and say nothing about the security of structural damage. It also seems we can not get insurance on the building, because we have no property.

So if home insurance is expected of us, the renter, the damage to its buildings, it can pay to our content and / renters insurance does not cover that we will be personally responsible for dozens or hundreds of thousands of pounds cost?

Thank you :-)

They have more luck posting in the Office of the United Kingdom, the Commission of the United States.

Although the policy covers the owner of the repairs that your insurance company has the right to attend the evening, after the failure - that is - for a refund.

The coverage that you see, is that "moral responsibility". This insurance does not cover the property. But yes, he can be held liable.
