What must I do to get into one of the best cooking schools in the United States, for example, the CIA. What GPA do I need? Do I need training? Should I go to school and get an interview? I went to the CIA. I do not think those are the admission requirements terribly difficult. There were many students with much experience, and there were some who came straight out of school or simply to make a career change after a career outside the hotel and catering trades.

Required Experience *
The CIA says it represents about six months practical experience in the preparation of meals in the kitchen, where at least 50% of food are made on the premises. The required experience is designed to help you understand the realities of working in the food service industry before enrolling. Food service and hospitality is a challenging and rewarding profession, and assure you feel comfortable in their choice of career. Here are some ways to this experience:
* Working in a professional kitchen (eg, restaurant, bakery, hospital, university and board).
* Volunteer for a dining room, a hospital, or the like.
* Make learning.
* Potential regulators of their intention to attend the CIA. Often, when given the opportunity to do hands on preparation of food.
* Working for a catering company (the hours are often more flexible).
* End the practice in relation to the needs of your school or ProStart Hospitality Program. (Please check with shots with the CIA to ensure that the curriculum is implemented.)
* Please note that you do not need food service experience in the application to the requirements before they are covered by the CIA.
How many referrals
